Feel Goo…Wait, Feel Grateful Friday

I’m about to move on from the election, but, before I do, I wanted to give a little shout out to the thousands of youngsters out there that believed…

I have almost let myself become discouraged by those seeking to ridicule others for embracing the ideas of hope and change.  I’m too old to swayed by ridicule, too weathered to be intimidated by threats, but I wanted my kids (especially Mychal) to see this video because these young people changed an entire nation, and faced not just scorn and ridicule in the process, but sometimes, batons and even bullets, while many Americans sat silently in front of their 13 inch Tv sets and watched.  I, for one, am grateful to have come of age during those times, if for no other reason than the incredible music!  But these young Americans fought against a system designed to stifle dissent, and paved the way for many of the civil protections that you enjoy today, but must be ready to defend at some point in your lives. You guys helped win an election, now the real work begins.  For What Its Worth:

    Mack:

Do you have the Westwood 1 concert that was aired when “Centerfield” was released? It’s got a lot of music that wasn’t on the album. Let me know if you want it.

  4. Mack–
    Great choice.

  5. Demo, no, but I want it.
