“Thrown under the bus” is the one I’m tired of.

  2. “Jumped the shark” is way old, darlin’. Been used for years and years and years…

This year’s big phrase is “FAIL” or “EPIC FAIL.”

  3. Wow. That was from Happy Days? Maybe I should have watched it. I thought EPIC FAIL was the last 8 years of George. 😉

Yeah… same here… but you just used ‘bugged’ and that’s an even older term, back to the beatnik era I believe, just another thing that bothers me as well !

Hah. Well, in fairness, I’m less likely to be bugged by cute phrases in the comments section….but a post? Different story.

Yeah, that’s a really bad, worn out cliche. “Hump the shark”, not so much!

  8. So “Jump the Shark” has jumped the shark?!

  9. So “Jump the Shark” has jumped the shark?
