I think I’ve figured out what it is that drives people to vote the way they vote. It’s who they talked to last that seems to know wtf is going on with politics.
I was playing trivial last night and one of the younger gents said he was gonna vote for Romney,he thinks, because of his “policies”. I told him that Romney has no “policies”, that it’s all bullshit, smoke and mirrors. He said, “Oh, really, so who should I vote for?”, or words to that effect. He also said, “Obamacare” with the scare quotes and yet knows NOTHING about the program. Fuck me, we are fucking fucked.
