CNN apparently made a decision to not send reporters into the spin room. Anderson Cooper rightly wondered why other networks do…tis a silly place.

The post-debate polls are devastating for McCain. One pundit summed it up (Republican) when said that his campaign did not measure up to the man. I just think he is 72 yrs old, and has been campaigning for two years. Campaigns are faster, harder, and longer than ever before. I really think McCain is worn out.
Silly format to try and roll out a sweeping policy initiative, btw. His debate prep was horrible.

78 yr old woman asked the question of the night: How will you ask Americans to sacrifice?
Obama answered this, McCain did not. I want to hear more of this from ALL elected officials. America will gladly sacrifice, if you tell them how. Conserve, volunteer, live within your means.
Scoring this debate for Obama based on that answer alone. I promise this resonates with patriotic Americans.

No More Palin Pity Party

Rebecca Traister sums up Palin perfectly. My favorite quote:
“Like everyone else, I can barely take the waves of embarrassment that come with watching someone do something so badly. Roseanne Barr singing the national anthem, Sofia Coppola acting in “The Godfather: Part III,” Sarah Palin talking about Russia — they all create the same level of eyeball-squinching discomfort.”
