Just kidding.  But, while we divert our attention to mindless cable shows, theres real trouble brewing at many financial institutions.  Here is a pretty good article that recaps whats happened, and if you have any serious money in the market…well, pay attention.  But hey, lets go ahead and privitize social security, right?  What could go wrong?

Excellent Idea

I love local fundraising that pushes the envelope.  When I raised money for the local womens/childrens shelter, I put together a dinner/comedy/golf package that did very well.  It was fun, but not particularly inventive.  I really liked this idea, and it is something any community can do.  I’m now ready to forgive Seattle for The Foo Fighters.
